Try this idea.
Next time you want to have meeting, get out of your office and go for a walk. Don't forget to take an audio recorder with you so you can go through it later and document it. I think walking makes the brain work better. I don't have any scientific proof, but it works for me, and I am sure others.
If you don't come up with any ideas, at least you will feel good that you got some exercise.
You can have a high-level agenda but keep it open and don't try to accomplish too much. Let it just flow otherwise people may avoid walking with you. Keep it fun for everyone. Go with the intent to get some exercise and see what people want to talk about.
I do this all the time with coming up with blog ideas, but I think you can be very productive if you took a colleague or a boss or a subordinate for a walk to discuss something or resolve an issue. Just find a place to walk t that is not distracting.
