This is my first attempt at my elevator speech. This took time, but it will go through more iteration and I have to keep practicing it.
Today, to win, you have to turn an idea into a solution quickly to make your customers win. If you can do this consistently, then you have an insurance for growth.
I help small high tech clients grow their business by acquiring customers within 90 days by an approach that integrates sales, marketing, partnerships, project management and technology/innovation. I call this Agile Business Development.
In baseball, a 5 tool player is one who excels at hitting for average, power, base running skills and speed, throwing ability, and fielding abilities.
Similarly, a 5 tool business developer has to excel at selling to all levels, be well versed in Internet Marketing, forge key partnerships, be very familiar with PM and Scrum and can understand technology and jointly develop innovative solutions.
Why your company?
We have a proven track record in delivering on our motto: Doing Lot More with Lot Less.
We were recently brought in by a small company that had no money, no marketing, no sales and no customers. We helped them secure a global contract from the largest logistics provider in the world.
Our approach was to make their customer feel comfortable working with us and technology and jointly develop a solution that was cheaper, better, faster and smarter.
If you don’t operate at a speed faster than your competitors then you will be playing a catch up game, lose market share or, worse, out of business. This is the new normal. Unless clients adapt, they are not going to be around.
We do a lot more for lot less. We work on a value based pricing so if we don’t deliver value, then it costs you nothing, so you have no risk. Also, we are fast learners.
Today a company is either growing or dying. To grow, you have to adapt quickly and help your customers do things cheaper, faster, better and smarter. If you can deliver, then you will have created value.
If what we are do is something that can help then we should set up some time to get a better understanding of your business and see if it makes sense for us to team up.
I will be working on trying to make this better as I put it into use. I know it does need work, but you got to start some where.
